Accused Private Poker Game Cheater: "I Didn't Bring Any Cards Anywhere"

One day after being accused of cheating a California home game out of millions, Tony Mars issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations.

Wesley Fei and Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot, both Hustler Casino Live regulars, claim that Mars, who also plays on HCL, brought a special UV-marked deck that allowed him to decipher face-down cards.

The alleged scandal occurred in a game at a private residence in Yorba Linda, California, a community in Orange County.

Gottlieb checked on the flop of 3♣AxK♥ and Seidel checked back. Gottlieb then bet 1,100,000 on the Q♠ turn and Seidel called.

Gottlieb checked on the K♦ river and Seidel checked back. "I think you win," Gottlieb said as he showed 9♠9♣, which indeed was no good against the A♠10♠ of Seidel for a pair of aces.

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 600,000 from the button and Erik Seidel defended his big blind.

The flop came 6♠Q♠K♠ and Seidel bet 300,000 for Kisacikoglu to come along to the Q♥ on the turn. Seidel fired a bet of 1,000,000 into the pot which was too much for Kisacikoglu as he folded.

Erik Seidel raised to 600,000 from the button and Seth Gottlieb defended his big blind.

They both checked through the A♦K♦3♣ on the flop to the 6♦ on the turn. Gottlieb check-raised the 900,000 continuation-bet of Seidel to 2,500,000 which was called.

The river completed the board with the 4♣ and they both checked for the final time. Gottlieb tabled the K♣9♠ for a pair of kings but Seidel showed the A♠9♣ for top pair and the pot.

A ten in the window was little help to Koon as the flop fanned 10♦8♣A♥ to give Kisacikoglu a set before the 8♥ turn improved Kisacikoglu to quads. The 6♥ river was a formality that confirmed the Game of Gold star's elimination in fourth place.
