Jason Sagle jammed his remaining 495,000 from middle position and Hossein Ensan quickly called from the big blind.
Jason Sagle: A♥9♠
Hossein Ensan: 8♦8♣
It was a coinflip scenario as the 4♣3♦2♠ flop kept Ensan in front but gave Sagle additional outs. However, it was the 9♥ on the turn that gave Sagle the lead and it stayed that way on the 7♣ river as he found the full double.
Georgios Sotiropoulos raised to 90,000 under the gun and Jordan Glazer three-bet to 260,000 in the hijack. John Kenny called for 150,000 in the big blind, while Sotiropoulos also called to create a side pot.
The flop came 4♦3♥2♣ and Glazer bet 140,000. Sotiropoulos called and both players checked the 5♥ turn.
The river was the 7♠ and Glazer bet 400,000. Sotiropoulos paused for a moment before folding as Glazer showed K♥Q♠ for king-high. Kenny turned over A♥A♠ for a straight to triple up, while Glazer took the side pot.
"Almost found the hero-call with two eights, huh. You're too sick," tablemate Matthew McEwan said to Sotiropoulos.
Yasuhito Abe jammed his final 155,000 from middle position and was called by Georgios Sotiropoulos in the hijack, while all subsequent action folded.
Yasuhito Abe: K♥3♥
Georgios Sotiropoulos: A♦8♦
Abe pulled ahead on the K♦Q♠6♦ flop and it stayed that way on the 4♣ turn. However, the 2♦ fell on the river to give Sotiropoulos a flush as Abe hit the rail in the first orbit of play.
