Hellmuth's Prediction Comes True

Niveau 26 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Phil Hellmuth

"This worked out so well last time," Phil Hellmuth said sarcastically as he opened to 250,000 under the gun. Fabian Niederreiter then three-bet to 540,000 in the cutoff and Hellmuth tossed A10 into the muck.

"I have a feeling we're going to get it all in soon. Then I'll only have five million. Nobody has patience," Hellmuth said after the hand.

The next hand, Wookuk Lee raised to 250,000 on the button and Hellmuth called in the big blind.

The flop came 7QK and Lee continued for 150,000. Hellmuth then raised to 500,000, Lee moved all in, and Hellmuth instantly splashed in his last 1,600,000.

Wookuk Lee: Q9

Hellmuth was ahead with his pair of kings against Lee's queens. The rest of the board ran out 7A and Hellmuth doubled up.

"Now I need to get it all in against you," Hellmuth told Niederreiter.
