Haxton Wins a Small One
Niveau 8
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Isaac Haxton raised to 17,000 in the cutoff, Stephen Chidwick flatted on the button, and Chris Brewer defended in the big blind.
The flop of K♠4♥J♦ checked through to the Q♣ turn. Action checked around to Chidwick who bet 31,000, prompting Brewer to fold and Haxton to call.
The J♥ river went check-check and Haxton tabled the winner with Q♠9♠ for two pair, queens and jacks.
