Sturm's Two Pair is Best

Leon Sturm raised from early position to 8,500, which was call by Sam Greenwood in the cutoff, and the big blind Alex Foxen.

The flop came 7J7 and all three players checked to the 9 on the turn. Foxen then bet out 24,000, which Sturm called, and Greenwood folded.

After the K on the river, Foxen sized down to 12,000, and Sturm made the call. Foxen tabled AJ for two pair, jacks and sevens, but Sturm had the winner when he turned over J9 for two pair, jacks and nines.

Maue Dodges Clubs

Tamas Adamszki and Leonard Maue got it all in on the turn with the board reading 9JA2.

Peters Trips Up Koon to Double

Heads-up to a completed board of J7664, David Peters and Jason Koon had created a pot of 130,000.

Peters checked the river from the cutoff to Koon on the button who jammed for 54,000 effective as the covering stack and Peters snapped it off.

David Peters opened to 7,000 from under the gun and was called by Fedor Holz in middle position and Moonho Seo in the hijack. In the cutoff, Kazuyuki Tanemura three-bet to 35,000. Then, [Removed:607] in the big blind announced all in for 281,500. Peters jammed for 391,500. Holz and Seo folded quickly before Tanemura requested a count and used a time bank before making a painful fold.

It was the most classic of flips with the J105 flop giving Peters additional outs. However, the board ran out 42 and [Removed:608] got the full double in the one of the largest pots of the day so far.

Muehloecker Takes It Down

Thomas Muehloecker raised 7,000 from early position, and when it folded to [Removed:502] on the button, he three-bet to 21,000. It folded back to Muehloecker who made the call.

The flop came 3K2 and Muehloecker check-called a bet of 10,000 from Mosbock.

Both players checked the 5 on the turn, which brought the 4. Muehloecker then bet out 14,000, which got a quick fold from Mosbock to give the pot to Muehloecker.

Pannucci Doubles Through Suvarna

Niveau 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action went three-ways to a flop of 5J6 in a three-bet pot between Masashi Oya who was under the gun, Santhosh Suvarna in the hijack, and John Pannucci in the big blind.

Pannucci led out with a bet of 70,000, Oya folded, and Suvarna made the call. On the 9 turn, Pannucci moved all in for 179,500, putting himself at risk. Suvarana thought for a moment before flicking in the call.

Koon Gets the Fold

Niveau 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jason Koon raised to 7,000 in the hijack, which was called by Fedor Holz on the button and the small blind Moonho Seo. Then Kazuyuki Tanemura put in a three-bet to 35,000, before Koon four-bet to 71,000. Holz and Seo folded, but Tanemura made the call.

The flop came 797 and Tanemura checked to Koon who continued for 50,000. After using a time extension, Tanemura mucked his hand to give the pot to Koon.

Haxton Wins Another

Isaac Haxton raised to 7,000 in the cutoff and Michael Soyza flatted on the button.

The flop came 10105 and Haxton continued with a bet of 16,000. Soyza called, bringing the K turn which went check-check.

On the 5 river, Haxton bet 27,000 and Soyza quickly folded.

The 765 flop checked through to the Q turn which saw Sturm check-call a bet of 16,000 from Haxton.

On the 7 river, Sturm checked for a third time to Haxton who cut out a bet of 55,000, which Sturm called after some deliberation. He got the bad news as Haxton tabled 75 for a full house as he raked in a sizeable pot.
