David Einhorn open-jammed a stack of 1,675,000 from under the gun and Adrian Mateos called behind him before Benjamin Heath jammed in the big blind to bring a fold from Mateos.

Einhorn pulled ahead on the flop of A♠9♠9♦ but it was a fleeting moment as the J♥ landed on the turn to put Heath back in front as the Q♦ bricked off on the river to mark Einhorn's elimination.
Action folded to Alex Foxen in the hijack and he raised to 500,000. It then folded to Sosia Jiang in the big blind who made the call.
The flop came 4♠Q♥5♦ and Jiang checked to Foxen who bet out 275,000. Jiang then decided to raise to put Foxen all in for his stack of 1,650,000, which was snap-called by Foxen.

Jiang jammed right into the pocket aces of Foxen, and once the board ran out 5♠7♠ the aces were still best, giving Foxen the double up.
Daniel Dvoress opened to 500,000 in the hijack and Elias Talvitie three-bet jammed a stack of 3,500,000 on the button. The chip leader called.

Talvitie was pipped and didn't improve on the J♠5♦7♠ flop, but the 4♦ landed on the turn to propel Talvitie into the lead as the 2♦ bricked off on the river.

Chance Kornuth raised to 600,000 from under the gun, and once it folded to the big blind Esti Wang, he made the call.
The flop came Q♦7♠10♦ and Wang led out for his stack of 900,000, which Kornuth called to put Wang at risk.

Wang out-flopped the pocket pair of Kornuth, and once the board ran out Q♣ on the turn and 2♦ on the river, Wang secured the double up with his two pair, queens and tens.
In a single-raised pot, Chance Kornuth checked with A♠J♥ on the flop of 4♦9♥J♠ and Daniel Dvoress checked with K♥8♥ as Elias Talvitie bet 500,000 with K♣Q♦.
Kornuth check-raised to 1,600,000 and Dvoress folded as Talvitie called. Kornuth then bet 1,675,000 on the 4♣ turn and Talvitie laid it down.
Action folded to Alex Foxen on the button who raised to 3,00,000. Then Elias Talvitie in the small blind moved all in for his stack of 2,925,000. The big blind folded to leave the players heads up, with Talvitie at risk.

Talvitie had Foxen dominated, looking to secure the double up. He managed to do just that after the board ran out 3♥J♠7♠A♣8♥ as the king-ten high of Talvitie was still best.
Action folded to Daniel Dvoress in the small blind who raised to 700,000, before Stephen Chidwick three-bet all in for 5,625,000. Dvoress snap called to put Chidwick at risk.

Chidwick found himself dominated by the bigger ace of Dvoress, and once the board ran out 10♠10♦6♠10♣Q♦, the ace-king of Dvoress was still best, making Chidwick the first elimination of Day 3.
