Koskela Flops the Nuts to Send Lee to the Rail

Niveau 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Juuso Koskela
Juuso Koskela

Action folded to Kiat Lee in the small blind and he raised all in for his stack of 375,000. Juuso Koskela in the big blind looked at his cards and quickly flipped in a chip to make the call.

Kiat Lee: A4 All in
Juuso Koskela: A6

Lee was dominated by the bigger ace of Koskela and once the flop came 5K9 Lee was flopped dead after Koskela flopped the nut flush. The board ran out 75 to officially give Koskela the pot and eliminate Lee.

Addamo Two-Outed on the River

Niveau 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Michael Addamo

Kannapong Thanarattrakul was all in for 1,225,000 on the button against Michael Addamo in the big blind.

Michael Addamo: KK

Thanarattrakul was in bad shape and got no help from the 42A flop or A turn. However, the J landed on the river as Addamo was delivered a cruel two-outer to double up his opponent.

The Australian high-stakes pro was left with crumbs and hit the rail shortly after.

Lozano Turned Dead by Martirosian's Queens

Niveau 11 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Raul Lozano
Raul Lozano

Artur Martirosian opened the action with a raise to 55,000 from early position, which was called by Patrik Antonius on the button. Then the small blind Raul Lozano three-bet all in for his stack of 715,000. Once the big blind folded, Martirosian four-bet all in, which got a quick fold from Antonius, to leave the players heads up with Lozano at risk.

Raul Lozano: J10 All in
Artur Martirosian: QQ

Lozano was crushed by the pocket queens of Martirosian, and the 696 flop left him needing running cards to stay in the tournament. But the 3 on the turn left Lozano drawing dead, and the Q on the river officially eliminated him, as Martirosian took the pot with his full house, queens full of sixes.

World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise is in full swing at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas and continues on today with Day 2 of Event #2: $1,000,000 Triton Million, a unique tournament featuring both some of the most successful poker players in history and deep-pocketed VIPs looking for the thrill of victory.

Leading the way into the second day of play is rising start Michael "Texas Mike" Moncek, a two-time bracelet winner best known for his near 100% VPIP on streams like Hustler Casino Live. In this event, Moncek has been more selective with his starting hands and built up nearly four times starting stack on Day 2.

HCL co-founder Ryan Feldman will also be in the Day 2 field as one of several players playing the biggest buy-in of their career. Did you know that Feldman was once kicked out of the WSOP Main Event due to an employment conflict? You can hear all about it in the Life Outside Poker interview Feldman did over the summer.

Of course, the field also includes poker's biggest names like Poker Hall of Famers Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius, as well as resident high roller crushers like Alex Foxen, Sean Winter, Jason Koon, Seth Davies, Adrian Mateos, Isaac Haxton, Justin Bonomo and Michael Addamo.

The VIPs, meanwhile, include Jared Bleznick, Sosia Jiang, David Einhorn and Jessica Teusl.

Day 2 kicks off at noon local time and PokerNews will be reporting on an hour-plus delay to coincide with the Triton stream. The pros and VIPs are combined on Day 2 so expect to see some interesting matchups throughout the day.

Stay tuned for continued coverage of the first-ever collaboration between the WSOP and Triton here at Atlantis.
