Both players had aces but it looked like Negreanu could freeroll his way to victory as the flop of 2♥Q♠7♠ gave him a flush draw while giving Seiver a whole lot of nothing.
However, the board proceeded to run out 4♥8♥ and Negreanu gasped in disbelief as he saw Seiver had made runner-runner two pair to mark his elimination. Negreanu rushed to tell Eric Wasserson what had happened and quickly bought back into the event.
