Maue Takes a Massive Pot Off Koon With Ace-High
Niveau 4
: 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
With around 30,000 in the pot on a flop of K♠7♣5♣, Leonard Maue bet 12,000 from the button and Jason Koon raised to 40,000 in the cutoff. Maue then raised to 80,000 and Koon called.
The turn was the J♥ and Maue bet 60,000. Koon again called to the 7♦ river and checked over to Maue. Maue checked back this time.
Koon showed Q♣9♣ for a missed flush draw, while Maue also missed his flush with A♣2♣ but took down the massive pot with ace-high.
