Lococo Spikes the River to Bust Glazer
Niveau 5
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo opened from middle position and was called by Jianwei Lin in the cutoff and Jordan Glazer in the big blind.
On the 10♦9♠4♦ flop, the action checked to Lin who bet 20,000. Glazer responded with a check-raise to 125,000. Lococo inquired about Glazer's stack size before he slid a stack of green T-100,000 chips forward to put both players at risk. Lin swiftly folded while Glazer snap-called off for around 300,000 effective.
Jordan Glazer: 10♣4♣
Alejandro Lococo: J♦9♦
Glazer was ahead with two pair but Lococo had middle pair and a flush draw. The 6♠ turn was safe for Glazer but the J♣ river gave Lococo a better two pair as Glazer hit the rail.
