Klodnicki Spikes an Ace on the Flop to Send Out Golubchik
Niveau 26
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Chris Klodnicki opened 1,200,000 under the gun and Eugene Golubchik jammed for 6,925,000 on the button. Klodnicki went into the tank, using a time bank before deciding to make the call.
Eugene Golubchik: K♦K♣
Chris Klodnicki: A♦J♠
The dreaded ace came on the flop for Klodnicki to take the lead, leaving Golubchik drawing thin to remain seated as the night neared the end. The 7♣ turn and 4♣ river were no help as he headed to the payout desk.
