Abdelhadi Kondah: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Rodrigo Strong: {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Pirault Succumbs To Lamzariki

Niveau 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Hassan Lamzariki opened with a raise to 10,500. Behind him, Francois Pirault shoved his last 70,000 in the middle. When it got back to Hassan, he immediately called to put Pirault at risk.

Francois Pirault: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Hassan Lamzariki: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} gave Pirault an opening with his jack of clubs, but the {A-Hearts} on the turn slammed that door shut. The meaningless {9-Diamonds} completed the board and ended Pirault's tournament.

Sorokin Spills Russian Blood

Niveau 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

In a Russian battle between Viktor Sorokin and Dimitri Motorov, it was the former sending the latter home after winning a big coinflip. Preflop, Sorokin had 36,000 in front of him and Sorokin had moved all in for 120,000. After thinking for two minutes, Sorokin called it off with nearly the same stack.

Viktor Sorokin: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Dimitri Motorov: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

It was a big call with pocket sixes, but Sorokin's hand remained ahead from start to finish: {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Sorokin celebrated the knockout with a loud bang on the table, but quickly regained control of his emotions to console his countryman.

Zakaria With The Nut Low

Niveau 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

On the turn and a board reading {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, David bet 40,000 and Zakaria called in position. The river was the {9-Spades} and David checked, with 60,000 behind. Zakaria bet around 50,000, but David had no showdown value and folded immediately.

Little did David know he was up against the one hand he could most certainly beat, as Zakaria showed {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the nut low. With that pot, Zakaria has crossed the half million in chips mark.
