The board read and the player in the small blind check-called the bet of Harald Sammer on the button. Sammer tabled for the rivered straight and his opponent rapped the table to compliment Sammer on his hand and mucked.
Fabian Gumz has been having a pretty good two weeks here in Rozvadov with six cashes here, including three final tables, during the WSOP International Circuit. In fact, the whole group that is sharing the same Airbnb have been hitting the tables and payout desk for days. Gumz is sharing with Eyal Bensimhon and Jakob Miegel.
Bensimhon won the Deepstack Open for €16,580, came second in the Mini Event for €10,552 and another cash in the Monster Stack. Miegel won the Mini Event for €14,610 besting Bensimhon heads-up.
Gumz had lost some chips after the break but was just involved in a hand:
The player in the under-the-gun position raised to 625. Gumz, in mid-position, raised to 2,000. Action folded back to the under-the-gun player who asked how much Gumz still had. Gumz showed him his stack which was about 9,000. He called.
The flop came , Gumz's opponent checked, Gumz bet 1,550. His opponent put a big stack in to raise, effectively putting Gumz all-in. Gumz snap-called.

Guido Presti had checked his small blind and Paul Lozano shoved all in from the big blind for 5,550 in total. Presti considered all his options carefully and then decided to call with the bigger stack.
Lozano showed for a rivered pair of fives. Presti, however, had him beat with for the higher pair of eights on the flop. Lozano was sent to the rail.
Some tables further Catalin Pop couldn't be found at his table anymore and we got told by the other players on the table that he was eliminated.
Ohana Shlomo limped in from early position and so did Makarios Avramidis from mid-position. Marek Tatar raised to 1,000 from the hijack and was called by both.
The flop came , both Shlomo and Avramidis checked, Tatar continued with a bet of 2,600. Shlomo called without much hesitation and Avramidis folded.
The turn brought them the , now Shlomo check-folded to the 7,000 bet of Tatar.
The under-the-gun player limped in, as did the player in the hijack. Oleksandr Zhyrnov raised to 1,025 from the button. Tom Dingenen called from the small blind, so did the under-the-gun player. The hijack folded.
The flop came , Dingenen and the under-the-gun player both checked. Zhyrnov continued with a bet of 1,550, Dingenen called and the other player folded.
The turn brought them the , Dingenen check-called the 2,700 bet of Zhyrnov.
The river completed the board with the , Dingenen quickly checked again. Zhyrnov tanked and then decided to continue with another bet but now for 6,500. Dingenen folded immediately.
The player from early position raised, the player in mid-position called, Majid Ejlal Noubarian shoved all in for about 25,000 and so did the initial raiser with a similar stack. The player in mid-position folded.
