Rabut Chipping Up

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Pierre Niveaud raised from early position to 1,300 and he was only called by Eric Rabut from the small blind.

The flop fell {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Rabut check-called a bet of 1,100 from Niveaud. Both players checked when the {4-Diamonds} turn came down and they saw the {9-Hearts} river appear.

Rabut put out a bet of 2,000 and Niveaud called him after a couple of seconds, only to see Rabut open up {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Niveaud mucked and the pot went to Rabut.

Vadot Picks Up Chips

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Michiel Brosky just sat down in the Main Event and he was immediately involved in a pot. He saw Guillaume Vadot limp from the under-the-gun position and Brosky raised to 2,400. The player on the button called and so did the player in the big blind. Vadot opted to push all in for 18,450 and Brosky had a decision in the first hand he played. He folded and so did the other two players in the hand.

Sonny Franco just sat down on another table with a fresh stack of 30,000 after finishing in third in the 6,000 MAD (€550) WSOP Circuit Deepstack event. The tournament needed an extra day to finish. Franco got to collect 260,000 (approx. €24,000) for his third-place finish.

Demircan Missclicks; Then Moves All In

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 25 ante

The flop was {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and the pot had about 8,000 in it. Serdar Demircan sat in the small blind and bet 1,500. His opponent was Sebastien Le Baron and he raised it to 4,100. Demircan then three-bet all in for about 33,000 and he started to explain to the table that he missclicked.

He told the table he meant to make it 5,500 instead of 1,500 and that he had grabbed the wrong color chip. After a while Le Baron gave up and he folded his hand. The table asked Demircan to show his cards but he refused as he sent them face down to the dealer.

Ciancanelli Doubles Through Canarinho

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 25 ante

The flop was {5-Clubs}{K-Spades}{2-Hearts} and there was 12,500 in the middle. Canarinho checked from the big blind to Teresio Ciancanelli in the cutoff and the latter moved all in for a total of 12,500. Canarinho thought about it and ended up calling.

Canarinho was in trouble with {J-Spades}{J-Clubs} against the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} of Ciancanelli. The turn and river were both blanks and Ciancanelli doubled up to well over the starting stack of 30,000.

Apikian Eliminates a Player

Niveau 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

The flop was {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Eric Apikian's opponent put in his last 5,000 chips. Apikian called quickly with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and he was in good shape to eliminate a player as his opponent had {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

The board ran out with the {3-Diamonds} turn and the {4-Diamonds} river and Apikian started stacking. He now has over 60,000.

Full House for Chraibi

Niveau 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Kamal Chraibi raised from under the gun to 800 and he was called by Boubekeur Benhalima from the cutoff and arce from the big blind.

The flop fell {5-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and all three players checked to see the {9-Hearts} turn. They checked again and the {5-Clubs} rolled off the deck on the river.
