Chips to El Abdallaoui

Niveau 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Julien Robert opened with a raise to 29,000 from middle position and he was called by [Removed:69] from the button and Mouloud from the big blind.

The flop fell {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Robert continued to 45,000 after Mouloud had checked to him. El Abdallaoui called and Mouloud got out of the way and let the two battle it out.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Robert checked this time. El Abdallaoui grabbed a stack of orange 5,000 and added some more to eventually push 140,000 forward. Robert then asked if he still had any green 25,000 chips and the answer was no. El Abdallaoui had 360,000 behind and Robert ended up folding.

Quignard Takes the Rest of Merai's Chips

Niveau 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mehdi Merai was left very short stacked after a big clash with Pierre Antoine Quignard and he just lost his last chips to him. It folded around to Merai on the button and he pushed his last 50,000 in the middle with {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The small blind folded and Quignard only saw a {K-Hearts} when he called. His second card turned out to be the {A-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Quignard eliminated Merai. Merai finished 37th place cashing for 35,000 MAD (approx. €3,220).

Quignard Doubles and Leaves Merai With Crumbs

Niveau 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mehdi Merai raised to 28,000 from the under-the-gun position and two seats over it was Pierre Antoine Quignard who three-bet to 78,000. It folded around back to Merai and he four-bet all in for 410,000. Quignard called and they opened up.

Mehdi Merai: {A-}{10-}
Pierre Antoine Quignard: {K-}{K-}

The board ran out clean without an ace and Quignard doubled up to a big stack of 850,000 which is almost double the average stack. Merai was left after the hand with just 50,000 which is roughly four big blinds.
