In a battle under the gun versus hijack, the completed board showed {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Simone Miracoli pushed all-in for around 500,000 and was only facing Ion Tabacaru, who had under 300,000 behind.

Some swear words in Russian followed and Tabacaru then called it off. Miracoli tabled the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush and Tabacaru's {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a set of treys was no good.

Big Pot Ends in a Split

Chip leader Mahersh Selvakumaran raised to 25,000 and Volkan Alkan three-bet to 80,000. Ladislav Kellner then moved all-in for more than 900,000 and Ronnie Lemmens shipped it in over the top from the big blind. Both Selvakumaran and Alkan folded to see the following cards exposed.

Do Tran defended the big blind and check-called a bet worth 45,000 by Luis Miguel Magan on the {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} turn. On the {4-Clubs} river, Tran bet 50,000 and Magan called to get shown the {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for quads.

Magan himself flashed the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} after he had tossed over two blue T-25,000 chips.

Moagi Wins Big Pot Off Butuc

While the pot was not quite big until the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs} river, Gheorghe Butuc opted to check and subsequently check-raise to 525,000. Cecil Moagi had bet 93,000 and was in the tank for a while but made the call.

Butuc tabled the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for aces and kings, which Moagi had beat with the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for trips aces.
