"Wow, he snapped me off. I thought he flopped the flush," Luc Ta gasped when he had just secured a double through Said Madani. Ta had been a big stack not long ago, then lost some of it, only to get back above half a million.

With more than 175,000 in the middle beyond the preflop stage, they got it in after the flop with Ta at risk.

Carlo Savinelli tangled with table neighbour Marco Boorsma and it was the most classic of flips with the Dutchman at risk for 206,000.
