Michaud and Mata Split

Maxime Taldir

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Louis Michaud opened to 300 from under the gun, but Gerard Mata to his left three-bet to 1,100. All the other players folded to Michaud, who called.

The dealer fanned a flop of K♠K♥2♠ which was checked by both players. Then on the turn 8♣, Michaud bet 900. Mata quickly called.

The 2♥ on the river brought no more action, so Michaud flipped over A♦6♥ for two pair. Mata had A♣5♥, so they split the pot.
