Gouzil Calls with Nines
Niveau 1
: Blinds 100/100, 0 ante
In a three-bet pot, Hervé Gouzil on the button continued with a bet of 1,500 on a flop of 4♠2♦5♥. Antonio Alves snap-called from under the gun, and a third player folded.
On the turn 8♠, Gouzil fired a second barrel of 3,000, but Alves check-raised to 6,000. Gouzil called, then went into the tank after Alves bet 11,000 on the river Q♥.
Gouzil eventually called with 9♦9♠ and scooped the pot, as Alves had a lower pair with K♣5♣.
