Rios Correctly Calls the River

Niveau 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

With the board showing {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {9-Spades}, Jorge Rios checked to Corey Zedo. Rios was then put to the test by Zedo who bet 20,000. Rios thought for a few moments before calling.

Corey Zedo: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Jorge Rios: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Rois' two pair was good against the missed nut flush draw of Zedo and he swooped in the pot.

Ma Misses Royal Flush Draw

Niveau 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Lawrence Ma raised from middle position and Brandon Hall three-bet to 8,200 from the button. Ma made the call and the players went to the flop. Both players checked once the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{k-Spades} was revealed before the turn brought the {4-Diamonds}.

Ma then check-called a 9,000 bet from Hall and the dealer turned over the {j-Clubs} river. The action went check-check and Hall revealed {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for two pair which was enough to win the pot against Ma's {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} which had missed its royal flush draw on the flop.
