Play Until Last 470 Players

Niveau 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

As soon as there are 470 players left in flight 1a of the Millionaire Maker, play will be stopped and they draw the number of hands left to play. That means that we're now 100 players away from the end of today.

Heimiller Out

Niveau 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Dan Heimiller
Dan Heimiller

With a board showing {q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and around 7,500 already in the middle, the first player checked and Dan Heimiller moved all in. His opponent snap-called and the players tabled their cards.

Dan Heimiller: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
His opponent: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Heimiller was in bad shape to double up as his opponent held top pair with a better kicker. The {10-Diamonds} river brought him no help and Heimiller was eliminated from the tournament.

Martini Loses Some Chips

Niveau 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

With already 6,800 in the middle and a board showing {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Julien Martini bet 1,200 after his opponent checked and the latter called. Both players checked on the {4-Clubs} as well on the {5-Hearts} after Martini gave it some thought.

His opponent{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} tabled and it was enough to make Martini send his hand into the muck.

Sinclair Wins Another Pot

Niveau 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Jack Sinclair seems to have ultimate control over his table.

Sinclair opened to 1,800 and got calls from the players in the cutoff and on the button. The flop was {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and all three players checked to see the {4-Clubs} turn appear.

Sinclair made a delayed c-bet of 5,000 and just the player on the button called the bet. The player also called the 3,000 bet on the {10-Spades} river, only to muck his cards after seeing Sinclair open up {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Phill Hellmuth is also on the table of Sinclair and has a little below starting stack.

Baumann Out

Niveau 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Gaelle Baumann was already all-in on a board showing {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and with around 14,000 in the middle. Two other players were still active in the hand and they both checked.

On the {4-Hearts} turn, the player in the big blind bet 6,000 and his opponent pushed all in. The first raiser let it go and the remaining players tabled their cards.

Gaelle Baumann: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Her opponent: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Baumann's pocket pair was behind her opponent's better pair with the flush draw. The {q-Hearts} river was just salt in the wound, upgrading her opponent to a flush, and sending Baumann to the exit.

After a player opened, Jesse Sylvia raised it to 5,400 and his opponent called. On a flop {4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} the latter check-called Sylvia's continuation bet for 6,700.

A {4-Spades} fell on the turn and both players checked. On the {2-Hearts} river Sylvia faced his opponent's huge bet for 9,000 and opted to let it go after some thought.

Anton Wigg opened the action in middle position with a raise to 1,500. He got three people to call, including Phil Ivey on the button.

The flop was {3-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Wigg and his left-hand neighbor checked. The player in the cutoff bet 2,300 and Ivey was the only player to tag along.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and this time it checked to Ivey, who won the pot by betting 6,000 and his opponent folded.
