Vincent Arevalo Eliminated in 23rd Place ($19,997)

Niveau 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Vincent Arevalo
Vincent Arevalo

In a series of two hands, Vincent Arevalo found himself on the rail.

In the first hand, Hiep Doan opened with a raise to 65,000 and he was called by Vincent Arevalo in the small blind and Ying Chan in the big blind.

The flop came down {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Arevalo came out firing with a bet of 165,000. Chan called from the big blind.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and Arevalo bet again, making it 255,000. Chan called once more.

On the {8-Diamonds} river, Arevalo bet once more, this time making it 385,000. Chan raised, making it 800,000 and thinking that Chan had called, Arevalo turned up his cards.

"You're good," Arevalo said, showing {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for a missed flush draw. But since Chan had raised, Arevalo just folded his hand, and Chan didn't have to go to showdown.

Just a few hands later, Arevalo got it in with {A-}{J-} against the {A-}{K-} of Mike Addamo. The board ran out {K-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Addamo held up with his kings to send Arevalo to the rail.
