Rosenblum Gone and Back

Peter Rosenblum was moved to one of the other tables to balance them out but after the tournament reached 54 remaining players, one table would be broken up. Somehow Rosenblum made his way back to the same spot he started in about an hour-and-a-half ago.

"I did the real marathon." he said with a smile while taking his seat.

In another hand, Jacobson raised to 26,000 from the cutoff and Martin Staszko called in the big blind.

All the money got in preflop between Joe Elpayaa and Zu Zhou. Elpayaa was the player at risk with his stack of about 250,000.

The flop came down {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} ending matters quickly for Elpayaa as Zhou flopped quads. The board completed with the {3-Hearts} and the {5-Clubs} and that meant that Elpayaa was sent to the payout desk in 57th place to collect $9,616 for his run.

Immediately after Elpayaa's elimination, Jiandong Xu was also taken down at the same table, sent home in 56th place.

Davidow Takes From Addamo

Picking up the action on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Mike Addamo checked over to Matthew Davidow who put out a bet of 120,000. Addamo called.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Addamo checked over to Davidow again. Davidow put out a bet of 240,000 this time. Addamo took his time before calling. The river was the {A-Clubs} which prompted checks from both players.

"I have a five," Addamo said, not revealing his hand. Davidow revealed his {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and it was good enough to take the pot away when Addamo mucked.

Pham's Hand Cannot Hold Up

The board showed {6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Yin Wu was holding {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush. Christian Pham's stack was being counted out and Wu had him covered by just a bit, so Pham was eliminated from the tournament.

According to players at the table, all the money went in on the flop with Pham holding {6-}{6-} for a flopped set and Wu caught up, making his flush.

Pham, the former bracelet winner, hits the rail in 58th place and will collect, $9,616 for his run.

Lee Markholt raised on the button to 27,000. Jiandog Xu was in the small blind and he moved all in for 51,000. Action folded back to Markholt who called.

Meanwhile, on a nearby table, Sean Eichendorf just lost the last of his stack to be sent to the rail.
