One of the tournaments starting today is Event #26: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha. Last year, Tyler Groth took down this tournament for $179,126 by besting a field of 1,058 players. The year before it was none other than Sam Soverel who took the bracelet.

Cards will be in the air at 11 a.m. and play will conclude at the end of Level 10. Late registration for the tournament is open for the first six levels of play and will close at approximately 6:55 p.m. Players will start with 100 big blinds as the starting stack for the tournament is 5,000 and the blinds for the first level are 25/50.
