Esther Taylor hit quads against Valentin Vornicu and she extracted some value out of her hand.
When we arrived at the table was already on the board. Both players checked to see the river on the turn. Taylor bet 1,500 and Vornicu looked like he had a tough decision.
He eventually made the call, only to see Taylor open up for quads.
Oscar Castagna opened to 275 from under the gun and an opponent in late position called. The big blind called as well and the flop came .
The big blind opponent bet 1,000 and both other players called. The turn was the and all three players checked to the on the river. Action checked to Castagna who then bet 2,400 and both of his opponents then folded.
The player to Alex Foxen's right raised to 450 and Foxen was the only player to call.
It checked to Foxen on the flop and Foxen took over the lead by betting 400. His opponent made the call. The turn was the and both players checked, and they did so again after the river.
Foxen's opponent opened up , and that proved a winner.
Valentin Vornicu led out with a bet of 800 with on the board. Esther Taylor called and the player on the button made the call as well.
They all saw the appear on the turn and Vornicu pushed 2,000 to the middle. Taylor and the player on the button both folded their hands and the pot went to Vornicu.
The board read and Bradley Butcher bet 1,000 into a pot around 1,700 from the small blind position.
Kevin Gerhart raised to 2,100 from the big blind position and Butcher thought about it for a few moments before making the call. Gerhart instantly threw his cards in the muck and Butcher took down the pot at showdown without even showing a card.
Yevgeniy Timoshenko limped from under the gun and Kevin Iacofano raised to 700 from the button. The big blind called and then Timoshenko raised to 3,050. Iacofano moved all in, the big blind folded and Timoshenko made the call for his remaining 1,000. The players flipped over their hands with Timoshenko at risk.
