WSOP 2021 | ARIEH'S 3RD BRACELET IS 16 YEARS IN THE MAKING! | Update Day 24

Highlights from day 23 of the World Series Of Poker 2021, plus a preview of today’s schedule.

It was a full day of live poker yesterday. Josh Arieh finally secured his third WSOP bracelet in Event #39: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha for $204,766. You can see our interview with Arieh linked below. Today five events remain in play including Event #40: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, which is down to its final five from 149 entrants. Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Kevin Gerhart is chip leader.Meanwhile Event #41: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em has been whittled down from 896 entries to just 8. Chip leader is Carlos Chang. It resumed at 11a.m. this morning. Elsewhere we reached yet another final table in Event #42: $1,500 Razz. Charles Sinn takes a comfortable chip lead into his first WSOP final table. The final tables of both Event #40 & #42 resume at 2 p.m. today where they will play down to a winner. Day 1a of Event #43: $1,000 Double Stack No-Limit Hold'em came to an end, with 1,937 entrants, & 506 players progressing to Day 2, due to take place Sunday Oct. 24th at 10 a.m. Another Day 1 was completed in Event #44: $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold'em which saw a total of 162 players take to the felt. Only 78 players bagged up chips with Ray Henson leading the charge. Henson ended the day with a total of 243,000 chips, the only player with a stack over 200,000. The action will also resume at 2 p.m. today. New for today is Day 1b of Event #43: $1,000 DOUBLE STACK No-Limit Hold'em, and while Event #45: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed Championship is due to start at 3 p.m.
