Mahmood Straightens Out Boatman

Clements Wins Some Chips

The player in the hijack raised to 600 and it was called by the small blind. Scott Clements, in the big blind, raised it to 2,300 and only the hijack player made the call.

On the flop , Clements moved all in for 3,200 after his opponent checked. After some thought, the latter folded and Clements earned the pot.

Eyster Takes a Pot

The action folded to the player on the button and he raised to 700. The small blind called and Kevin Eyster called from the big blind. They went three handed to the flop and it checked to the player on the button who bet 1,100.

The small blind folded and Eyster called. Both players checked the turn card and the completed the board. Eyster led out with a bet of 1,500 and his opponent quickly folded.

Foxen Fills Up

With 3,000 in the main pot on a board of Alex Foxen led out with a pot sized bet. Jennifer Tilly folded and Matt Stout called. The player on the button called and they went three handed to the river.

Foxen checked and both players quickly checked behind. "Nobody wants to bluff" Foxen joked as he turned over for kings full of sixes and dragged in the pot.

Williamson Wins a Small Pot

Meeusen Eliminates Laplante

A short stacked Ryan Laplante was in the big blind with 225 chips. The under the gun player raised to 1,000 and Kevin Meeusen called from the cutoff. The small blind folded and Laplante was at risk for his tournament life.

Both players checked down the runout and Laplante tabled his for a pair of jacks. The under the gun player showed . Meeusen turned over and his pair of queens on the river was enough to earn him the pot and eliminate Laplante.
