Paul Quade raised to 300 from under the gun and James Woods called from the small blind. The big blind called and they went three handed to the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Spades} flop. Woods led out with a bet of 650 and the big blind folded.

Quade called and they went heads up to the {a-Hearts} turn. Both players checked and the river was the {3-Hearts}. Woods fired out a bet of 1,125 and Quade quickly folded. "I believe you had it that time" said Quade to which Woods replied "I had an honest hand."

Gerald DeNicholas and Mark Wates were heads up on the turn on a board reading {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. DeNicholas checked to Wates who bet 3,500 into a main pot of over 5,000. DeNicholas check raised all in for 7,100 and Wates folded.

"I knew you had pocket eights" said DeNicholas flashing only the {9-Spades} and Wates replied "I did have eights, I knew you had me outnothched by one."
