Bingo River for Gromenkova

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 0 ante

One player was all in when Svetlana Gromenkova went up against another opponent, and the board read {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. The river came the {9-Hearts}, and Gromenkova threw in her final 1,000 chip, with only a few lower nomination chips behind her, and got a call.

Svetlana Gromenkova: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Her opponent let out a sigh of despair as the dealer announced Gromenkova held top two pair, and he realized his two pair had been beaten by the river card. The all-in player also accepted he was beaten and stood up from the table as Gromenkova rebuilt her chip stacks.

Kim Mucks on the River

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 0 ante

Two players called, as well as Pok Kim on the button, Mike Watson in the small blind and the player in the big blind who checked, to create a five-handed pot.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and after the three first players checked, Kim made a bet. Watson folded, the big blind three-bet and only Kim chose to call.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and Kim called her opponent's bet. The same action happened on the {9-Hearts} river and Kim mucked her hand when her opponent revealed {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a set of sixes.

Andre Akkari was down to 550 but was able to double-up with the nut flush holding {a-Spades}{9-Spades} to give him some hope, but just a few hands later he was heading for the exit.

Akkari raised and was three-bet by Phanatda Phakousonh, which was enough to put the Brazilian all-in. Akkari made the call, and he needed help from the board.

Phanatda Phakousonh: {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Andre Akkari: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Board: {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Akkari was unable to improve his queen-high and was the next elimination from the event.

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 0 ante
Ronnie Bardah
Ronnie Bardah

Ronnie Bardah raised from under the gun and was called by the player in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Bardah called his opponent's lead. Both players checked on the {j-Clubs} turn. The river came {9-Clubs} and the small blind player check-called Bardah's bet, revealing {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for two pair. Bardah looked one more time at his cards, and quickly showed {j-}{10-} before mucking his hand.

Bardah was left with crumbs after this hand and was all in from the big blind position against the small blind player. With {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Bardah had the dominated hand, facing his opponent's {j-Spades}{9-Spades}, and the board ran out {10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} to send him to the rail.
