Day 1 of Event #41: $1,500 Limit Hold'em of the 2018 World Series of Poker is set to get underway at 11 a.m. today. Last year in this event, it was Shane Buchwald who beat a 616-player field to earn $177,985 as well as his first WSOP bracelet.

Players will start with 7,500 in chips and play 10 hour-long levels with a 20-minute break after every two levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 6 at around 5:40 p.m. Late registration will be closed after level 8.

There are only three limit Hold'em events on the 2018 World Series of Poker schedule with the next event being Event #52: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship on June 25. So for those limit hold'em specialists who are looking for a more affordable tournament, this is the event for you.

Hansen Starts Well

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

Joshua Lindberg raised from the hijack and Todd Hansen three-bet on the button, and after the rest of the table folded Lindberg made the call to see a {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Lindberg then check-called a bet from Hansen, before he check-folded to another bet on the {8-Clubs} turn.

Hansen has started well and is up to 9,200.
