James Calderaro Eliminated in 4th Place ($414,134)

Niveau 29 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
James Calderaro - 4th Place
James Calderaro - 4th Place

On Hand #58, defending champ James Calderaro raised to 500,000 and Ben Yu called on the button. Shaun Deeb came along from the big blind and three players went to the flop, which came down {2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Deeb checked, Calderaro bet 1,000,000, and Yu folded. Deeb then woke up with a pot-sized check-raise and Calderaro called off for 3.1 million total.

Deeb: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}
Calderaro: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Both players had flopped top two pair and it looked like things were headed for a chop. The {4-Hearts} turn meant Calderaro just needed to dodge a five to at least split the pot, and he could still win it outright with a river king.

The dealer burned and delivered the {5-Spades} on the river. Deeb made a runner-runner straight and sent the defending champ to the rail in fourth place.
