There will be 29 players returning to the felt for the final day of Event #48: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em MONSTER STACK. They will all have their sights set on the top prize of $1,037,451 and the coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet. Leading the way currently with a stack of 8,910,000 chips is Victor Rangel from the United States.

When the players return to their seats at 11:00 a.m. local time inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, the short stacks will be forced to make a move early on, knowing that they already have $28,841 already locked up. With eight players sitting under 20 big blinds, the eliminations should be quick to begin the day.

Those sitting on larger stacks such as Rangel like James Carroll (8,165,000), Harald Sammer (7,170,000), Rittie Chuaprasert (5,785,000), and Michael Benko (5,250,000) can look to apply pressure and set themselves up for a final table appearance. Another player to keep an eye on is Steve Billirakis (4,145,000) who is the only one left to have won a WSOP gold bracelet previously, and he still holds the record as the youngest player ever to earn one.

The action will resume at Level 31 with the blinds at 50,000/100,000 and a 15,000 ante. The levels will continue to be 60 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after the sixth level. There will also be table redraws at 27 players, 18 players, and 10 players. The schedule is to play today until a winner is crowned or at least 10 full levels are completed.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be on the tournament floor to bring you all of the live updates throughout the day.
