Mariani Out

Niveau 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Frank Mariani pushed his last chips in the middle and Norson Saho made the call. Holding {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, Mariani had to win the flip to survive, facing {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for Saho, but a dry board {8-} high brought Saho the winning hand and sent Mariani into the rail.

Mackey Wins One

Niveau 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

James Mackey opened to 4,500 and Dan Ott raised it to 11,000 from one seat over. The action folded back to Mackey who opted for the call.

The flop went {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Mackey check-called Ott's bet for 10,000. The turn was the {6-Hearts} and the same action happened, this time for 15,000. Both players checked on the river {2-Spades} and Mackey turned over {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}, which was enough to make Ott muck his hand.

Vark Gets it in WIth Bullets

Niveau 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Liina Vark opened from late position and an opponent on the button moved all in. Vark made the call for her last 49,100 and the players then turned over their hands.

Liina Vark: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Vark's flopped set of aces took down the pot, securing her a double up.

Niveau 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Dieter Dechant opened to 5,500 from early position and found three callers to the flop of {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Action checked to Dechant who bet 20,000 and the only person to call was an opponent in the big blind.

The turn fell the {6-Spades}, the big blind opponent checked and Dechant then moved all in for around 75,000. His opponent folded and Dechant scooped in a nice sized pot.

Ivan Deyra
Ivan Deyra

We got to the table when the board was showing {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} with three players involved. Ivan Deyra was already all in preflop, holding {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, as well as Anthony Kazgandjian with {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for his last eight blinds. Michael Richardson, with the biggest stack, was holding {j-}{j-}.

Kazgandjian tripled up his stack while the other French player, Ivan Deyra, made his way into the cashier. Richardson, who started the day with 45,500 has now a comfortable stack worth 168,000.

Phillips Doubles Up Once More

Niveau 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A first player opened for 4,500 and Samuel Phillips moved all in for 22,700 chips. Holding {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} against {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for his opponent, it was a typical flip situation for Phillips and the {j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} run out gave him another double up.
