Jeffrey Cook and Kate Hoang were in early positions with Cook leading out 10,000 on the 
flop. Hoang called and the Cook pushed all in on the 
turn. Hoang called and the cards were turned up.

"Wow," Hoang said when she observed that they had very similar hands. They were essentially tied on the turn, but Hoang spiked two pair on the 
river and took half of Cooks's stack.

Kim Kallman opened to 4,000 from the cutoff, Garrett Garvin three-bet the button to what looked like 12,000, the blinds got out of the way, Kallman four-bet, and the rest of the chips went in quickly.

Kallman had the edge with his aces and Garvin needed to improve to stack him. The board ran out 
, so Kallman's hand held for the double-up.

There were about 10,000 chips in the middle and the board read 
when we got to the table. Action checked to Randy Ohel in the cutoff and he bet 3,500. Amnon Filippi called from the big blind.
The turn brought the and both players checked. The hit the river and Filippi bet 5,500, sending Ohel into the tank.
"I think that's the only river card in the deck that hurts me," said Ohel as he considered his decision.
"Then it must be the only one that helps me," Filippi replied.
"There's not even much to bluff at. I have all the diamonds."
After over a minute of banter, Ohel called. Filippi tabled 
and Ohel showed 
to take the pot.

Raz Alon made it 4,200 in a middle position and Matthew Smith called on the button. His neighbor Tom West shoved for 6,100 and both Alon and West called.
Alon pushed his last 4,700 into the middle when the 
flop landed and Smith called.

The turn gave Alon a flush and nut low and the river locked it up for him. The table said "scoop" in unison and Alon more than doubled, eliminating West as a bonus.

There were about 20,000 chips in the pot and the complete board of 
was out when we got to the table. Action checked to Phil Hellmuth in middle position and he bet 13,000. After a bit of time in the tank, Bruce Rogoff called from the small blind, and shortly thereafter, Matthew Ezrol did the same from under the gun.
"Just the nut high," said Hellmuth before any hole cards were revealed.
Hellmuth then tabled 
for the jack-high straight, Ezrol showed 
for the nut low, and Rogoff tossed his cards into the muck.

We arrived at the table when the dealer was counting Brandon Cantu's stack. There was roughly 40,000 in the middle and it became apparent that Cantu just made a large double through Edward Han with , hitting a full house on the board of 
. Han's hand was already in the muck and it was confirmed that Cantu had 67,500 back.
Han had him just covered and Cantu won the max, climbing to 175,000 or so. Han's stack suffered a huge blow and he continued with only 6,000.

Michael Six limped in from under the gun, Tom West limped from the cutoff, Jason Stockfish completed the small blind, and Todd Witteles checked his option.
The flop came 
and both blinds checked. Six bet 4,800, West raised the pot to 19,200, Stockfish and Witteles folded, and Six called to put himself at risk for 13,800.

Both players were drawing to the nut low but Six had the lead with top pair. The turn and river meant Six would scoop the pot with nines up to leave West with less than three big blinds.
