Grospellier is Good With Ace High

Niveau 5 : 150/300, 300 ante

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier sat in the cutoff and was involved in a pot against the player on the hijack. The board was already {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Grospellier check-called a bet of 1,800.

Both players checked on the {10-Hearts} turn and the {2-Hearts} river completed the board. Grospellier checked and his opponent took his time to think over his decision while playing with a couple of 5,000 chips. Eventually, he threw in one 5,000 chip to bet and Grospellier made the call after thinking it through.

His opponent flashed {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Grospellier showed down {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for the best hand with ace-high.

Foxen checked again on the {4-Clubs} turn and called an 800 bet to see the {J-Clubs} river complete the board. On the river, Foxen check-folded to a bet of 2,200 from his opponent.

Elias Loses Another Pot

Niveau 5 : 150/300, 300 ante
Darren Elias
Darren Elias

Darren Elias started the tournament out pretty good and doubled his starting stack in the first couple levels. For now, it seems Elias is in some rough water as he has lost more than he won.

Elias opened to 700 and the player in the big blind defended. The flop was {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and the player in the big blind chose to lead by betting out 500. Elias called to see the {10-Clubs} turn, but he folded when his opponent bet out 1,500.

Zaichenko: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
