Day 3 of Event #56: $10,000 Razz Championship began with 13 players remaining from the field of 119 players. After 11 levels of action, Calvin Anderson and Frank Kassela still remain.

Anderson has more than a 3-to-1 lead, holding 4,585,000 to Kassela's 1,370,000. While Kassela has only 4.5 big bets compared to Anderson's 15, this heads-up match has shown both players resiliency as the chip lead changed numerous times over the course of their nearly five-hour duel. Up top is a first-place prize of $309,220, while the runner-up will receive $191,111.

Anderson began the day as the chip leader and prior to heads-up action, it was smooth sailing for him. He began the official final table as chip leader and began heads-up play with the chip lead. What ensued was a lengthy heads-up battle with Kassela, who started the day eighth in chips.

In the first level of play Kassela, more than tripled his stack and continued to chip up nicely after that to begin the official final table on Anderson's heels in second place.

The players who came up just short of the final table were Allen Kessler (9th - $25,664), Ismael Bojang (10th - $25,664), Paul Volpe (11th - $21,059), Eric Rodawig (12th - $21,059) and Ted Forrest (13th - $17,706).

Here are the results of the final table thus far:
