Jaka Eliminated by Detale

Niveau 2 : 50/100, 0 ante
Faraz Jaka
Faraz Jaka

One of last year's finalists, Faraz Jaka has hit the rail and it was at the hand of Michael Dentale and he was happy to relay what had happened in the previous hand.

The pot was three-bet preflop and four players were still in. On the flop they became three and on the turn, Jaka took the betting lead when both his opponents checked to him. Only Dentale called the bet and he hit the nuts on the river. He checked to Jaka, who set him all-in and it was an easy call for Dentale who chipped up very nicely just as players are about to hit their first break.

Jaka was all-in for 450 chips the very next hand but couldn't spin it up and hits the rail.

Frankenberger Engages in Some Table Talk

Niveau 2 : 50/100, 0 ante
Andy Frankenberger
Andy Frankenberger

Andy Frankenberger is one of many to just recently take his seat in this growing field, and the table talk has already started. After folding to a river bet from his opponent, Frankenberger had a few questions.

"Where are you from?" he asked.

"Austria," his opponent replied.

"Hmm. If I knew that I wouldn't have folded. You flew all the way here to three barrel," Frankenberger said with a smile.

"I could see what you had," his opponent joked back.

"What were you hoping I did? Call or fold?" Frankenberger asked but could not get a response.

Simao Lays One Down

Niveau 2 : 50/100, 0 ante
Joao Siamo
Joao Siamo

Joao Simao had a good start to the day but recently had to make a big laydown. With around 2,100 in the middle already, the dealer fanned the flop of {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Simao checked to his opponent on the button who tossed in a bet of 1,100. Simao check-raised to 2,700 and his opponent called.

The {7-Hearts} landed on the turn and Simao led out for 4,200. His opponent still called and the {10-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Simao checked this time and his opponent ripped all in for 16,500. Simao asked for a count but then slid his cards to the muck.

Anthony Reategui
Anthony Reategui

Anthony Reategui and Ryan Jones were heads up on the river with a {3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} board already out and 7,250 chips in the middle.

Jones had set Reategui all-in and after thinking about it for a minute, he decided to fold. He is now sat on about a third of the starting stack but at this early stage, it's still 88 big blinds to play with.

Foxen Chipping Up

Niveau 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Alex Foxen doesn't seem to want to take his time, he has already exceeded 30,000 and the blind levels are still at their lowest.

Just now he took a pot down on a {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} board. Following two checks, he bet 1,200 and both opponents passed. "Nice bluff" said one player and Foxen smiled and shook his head as he started stacking his newly acquired chips.

Picture Worthy Hand for Benyamine

Niveau 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

After walking past the table, David Benyamine was taking out his phone to take a picture of a sick cooler just moments after sitting down. Benyamine hasn't been in his seat for any longer than 20 minutes and he is already on a short stack.

The board read {a-}{10-}{6-}{j-}{j-} and Benyamine had pushed in a bet of around 8,000. His opponent shipped all in on the button and Benyamine had to make the call. His opponent turned over {a-}{j-} while Benyamine made sure to get a picture of his {10-}{10-}. Both players rivered a full house, with Benyamine coming out on the losing side of the battle.
