From Chipleader to Out

Niveau 15 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

John Harris was chipleader not too long ago, but after Jeff Savage tripled up it was the latter who was in the ascendancy. Savage opened to 25,000 on the button with shorter stacks in the blinds. Harris was in the small blind with about 40,000 and he moved all in. The big blind folded and Savage called.

"I ain't got much of a hand," said Harris, turning over {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Savage had {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and held on the {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts} run out to move close to 200,000 in chips.

Niveau 15 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

A player opened to 20,000 and Adam Owen moved all in from the button for 62,000. The initial raiser called and the cards were turned over.

Middle position: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Adam Owen: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Owen doubled to over average with 300 players remaining.

Abad Gets Lucky To Double

Niveau 15 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

It folded to the player in the small blind who said to the big blind "Should I bother looking or should I just rip it?" In the end, he moved all in for around 100,000.

Cesar Abad was in the big blind, and called with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. The small blind showed {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The flop was a bad one for Abad, coming {3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} giving his opponent two pair. The turn was the {q-Diamonds}, but the river {9-Hearts} counterfeited his opponent's two pair and gave Abad the win, doubling up his 71,500 stack.

Three-Way All In Leads to New Chipleader

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

John Harris was closing in on 300,000, but his stack has taken a tumble after a three-way all in.

With Jeff Savage all in preflop for around 30,000, Harris and Josh Weiss got it in on a {7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop.

John Harris: {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Josh Weiss: {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Jeff Savage: {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Savage was calling for an eight, while Harris bemoaned his opponent's larger pair. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the river {8-Diamonds} gave Savage a straight to stay alive, while Weiss doubled through Harris to the tune of 135,500.
