Hallaert Takes Some Chips From Afriat

Niveau 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

In a raised pot, the flop was reading {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} when Kenny Hallaert check-called a bet of 2,000 from Eric Afriat on the button.

The turn fell a {4-Diamonds} and brought no betting action. On the {3-Hearts} river, Hallaert checked and Afriat, after a quick think, did the same. Hallaert tabled {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and it was enough to make Afriat muck his hand.

Linde Folds to Second Barrel

Niveau 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

Dylan Linde defended his big bind to a middle position open to 650. They went heads up to the flop and it came down {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Linde check-called the 450 continuation bet.

On the {7-Spades} turn there was another check from Linde but this time he decided the price wasn't right and he folded to the 1,400 barrel. Linde now has less than 30 big binds in play.

McKeehen Eliminated

Niveau 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

A first player opened and Steve Chanthabouasy made the call. Joe McKeehen, who lost most of his stack a few minutes before, called all in for his last 800. The two remaining active players checked on the flop {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

The turn brought a {k-Diamonds} and after a check, Chanthabouasy bet 2,000. His opponent folded and Chanthabouasy tabled {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the nut flush. McKeehen, holding {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}, was drawing dead and got eliminated from the tournament after a {2-Clubs} completed the board.

Silver Downed by Moreno

Niveau 6 : 150/300, 50 ante
Max Silver (from a previous event)
Max Silver (from a previous event)

Max Silver moved all-in for 2,275 chips in middle position. He was called by David Moreno in the small blind and everyone else passed.

David Moreno: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Max Silver: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

It was bad news for Silver, who had run into Moreno's pocket aces. He needed something pretty special but the {3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} runout couldn't help him and he hit the rail.
