Paul Hoefer
Paul Hoefer

Paul Hoefer opened from under the gun and Eric Hicks defended his big blind. On the {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, Hicks checked, Hoefer bet 90,000, Hicks check-raised all in and Hoefer called all in for 825,000.

Paul Hoefer: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Eric Hicks: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Hicks needed an ace or ten to scoop up the nearly 2 million chip pot but neither the {3-Spades} turn nor {7-Diamonds} river provided it, leaving him with 250,000.

Eric Hicks opened from the cutoff, Griffin Benger three-bet shoved 400,000 from the big blind and Hicks called.

Griffin Benger: {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}

"Does anyone of you have a bracelet?" Hicks asked his tablemates, receiving nothing but crickets.

"Man, if I win a bracelet I'm gonna wear it every day," he smiled, pointing at his empty wrist.
