Kim Rivers a Double

Niveau 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

PLO

Thomas Kim was all in for 107,000 on the flop of {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, facing off against Yuval Bronshtein.

Kim: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Bronshtein: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Both players flopped trips and they were still tied after the {9-Spades} turn. The river was, however, the {J-Diamonds} and Kim finished with fours full to score a double up.

Moscati and Lenter Both Peel Aces, Both Bust

Niveau 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

PLO

Within a minute, two major hands emerged on two different table with each of them resulting in an elimination. Coincidentally, both busted players lost their tournament lives after peeling aces in PLO.

The first hand saw Vincent Moscati move all in on the flop of {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts} but he found himself in a terrible spot with {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} as Jesse Vilchez snapped him off with {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. The {10-Diamonds} turn gave Moscati some chances but a {4-} on the river eliminated him in 23rd place.

Over on another table, Fernando Brito and Scott Lenter were all in with very similar hands:

Lenter: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Brito: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{K-Spades}, delivering a cruel knockout as Brito made queens full of tens. Brito had 205,000, just enough to cover Lenter's 201,000.

Iacofano Eliminates Hendrix

Niveau 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Hold'em

Jonathan Bryan made it 12,000 on the button and Adam Hendrix jammed for 125,000 or so. Kevin Iacofano came over the top, reshoving out of the big blind. Bryan escaped and Hendrix found himself spinning with {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} against {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}. The board went out {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Hendrix was eliminated in 20th place.

Ziskin Hits a Straight

Niveau 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

PLO

Alexander Ziskin raised to 16,000 in the cutoff and shoved a total 57,000 over Jonathan Bryan's three-bet from the button. Bryan called for the extra few thousands.

Ziskin: {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Bryan: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Ziskin hit the nuts on the {8-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board and doubled with a straight while Bryan dropped to last 52,000.

Kim Flops the Nuts to Take the Chip Lead

Niveau 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Hold'em

To say Thomas Kim has been on a roll since the final three table redraw might be a tad of an understatement. Kim has more than quadrupled up since the redraw took place and is now the tournament chipleader after a sizeable pot against Alexander Ziskin.

Ziskin opened to 13,000 from middle position getting called by both players in the blinds including Kim in the small. A {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop fanned out and both players checked to Ziskin who continued for 19,000. Kim flatted and the big blind folded.

The {5-Spades} hit the turn and Kim checked once more. Ziskin bet 56,000 and Kim raised to 115,000. Ziskin flatted and the {6-Clubs} peeled off on the river.

Kim led with a bet of 87,000 and Ziskin called only to muck when Kim tabled the {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, flopping the nuts.
