Lipshultz Knocks Two Out to Take the Lead

Niveau 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

The player under the gun shoved for about 50,000, the next player to act called to put himself at risk, and action was then on Evan Lipshultz. He called after brief consideration with a significantly covering stack, everyone else got out of the way, and all three players tabled their hands.

Under the gun: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Early position: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Evan Lipshultz: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

Lipshultz had the best of it and both of his opponents needed to improve to survive. The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Lipshultz's jacks held up for him to stack both players and vault into the chip lead.

Keeline Climbing

Niveau 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Evan Lipshultz raised to 10,000 from early position and Ben Keeline called from the big blind.

The flop came {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Keeline check-called a bet of 10,000 from Lipshultz.

The turn brought the {10-Hearts} and Keeline checked. Lipshultz bet again, 30,000 this time, and Keeline called.

The {9-Diamonds} hit the river and both players checked. Keeline flipped over {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Lipshultz mucked, and Keeline took the pot.

Le Lets Go

Niveau 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

There was a substantial pot of about 50,000 already brewing and the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop was out when we got to the table. Action checked to Nam Le in middle position and he bet 16,000. The player in the big blind check-shoved for a total of 42,000, sending Le into the tank. He ultimately folded and the big blind took the pot.

There were about 25,000 chips in the pot and the board read {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades} when we got to the table. Action had checked to DJ MacKinnon in the cutoff and he bet 12,000. The big blind called.

The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and the big blind checked. MacKinnon bet again, 20,000 this time. His opponent tossed his cards into the muck and MacKinnon took the pot.
