Hands #64-68: Volpe Folds Out Lewis

Hand #64: Shaun Deeb raised to 225,000 from the button and Romain Lewis three-bet to 750,000. Paul Volpe and Deeb folded and Lewis took down the pot without seeing a flop.

Hand #65: Lewis raised to 220,000 and Volpe called from the small blind.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Volpe check-called a 400,000 bet from Lewis.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Volpe checked to Lewis and he checked behind this time.

The {8-Clubs} completed the board and Volpe decided to bet this time, firing for 650,000 and now Lewis had a decision to make. Both players were about even in stacks at the start of the hand but after Lewis folded it was Volpe with the bigger stack between the two.

Hand #66: Volpe raised to 215,000 and Deeb three-bet to 725,000. Lewis and Volpe folded and Deeb took down the pot.

Hand #67: Volpe got a walk.

Hand #68: Volpe completed the small blind and Deeb checked his option.

Hand #60: Paul Volpe raised to 200,000 on the button, and Romain Lewis called in the big blind. On the {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop both players checked, and on the {q-Clubs} turn Lewis bet 400,000. Volpe called, and they saw the {5-Clubs} river. Lewis bet 1.2m and Volpe called after some thought.

Lewis tabled {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for trips and won the pot.

Hand #61: Deeb raised to 225,000 on the button and Lewis three-bet to 750,000 in the small blind. Volpe folded as did Deeb.

Hand #62: Deeb received a walk in the big blind.

Hands #54-58: Volpe Climbs Up

Hand #54: Shaun Deeb called from the small blind and Romain Lewis checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came down {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Deeb led out with a bet of 100,000. Lewis called to see the turn and the dealer put down the {Q-Clubs}. On the turn, Deeb bet 265,000 and Lewis called again. The river was the {7-Clubs} and Deeb checked this time around. Lewis had the option to check or bet now and he chose the latter by putting 600,000 in the middle and Deeb folded.

Hand #55: Deeb raised to 225,000 and both blinds folded their hand.

Hand #56: Lewis raised to 200,000 from the button. Both Paul Volpe and Deeb called to see the {5-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop appear on the board.

All three checked on the flop to see the {J-Hearts} turn get added to the board. Volpe bet 320,000 on the turn to take down the pot.

Hand #57: Volpe raised from the button to 215,000 and Deeb folded. Big blind Lewis grabbed chips for the call and in the meantime, Volpe was eyeing the stack of Lewis.

The flop was {K-Spades}{A-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Volpe continued with a bet of 185,000 after a check from Lewis. Lewis called the bet to see the turn.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and Lewis checked to Volpe again. Volpe put in a bigger bet on the turn when he dropped 485,000 in the middle. Lewis folded and Volpe took down the pot.

Hand #58: Lewis completed his small blind and Volpe checked.

The flop was {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} and Lewis bet out 200,000. Volpe folded.

Both players checked on the {8-Spades} turn and on the {8-Hearts} river they checked to showdown, and Romain won the pot with {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for queen high.

Hand #45: Volpe raised to 225,000 from the button and Romain Lewis called from the big blind. The flop came down {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Lewis checked to Volpe.

Volpe bet 160,000 and Lewis called.

The turn came down {3-Clubs} and both players checked. They also checked on the {6-Hearts} river and Lewis took down the small pot.

Hand #46: Deeb raised to 225,000 from the button and Volpe defended his big blind. Volpe checked on the {3-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop and Deeb put in a bet of 200,000. Volpe called.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Volpe checked a second time. Deeb bet 460,000 this time around and Volpe called again.

The {7-Clubs} completed the board and Volpe checked again. Deeb thought about it for a minute before shoving 2,280,000 forward. It was Volpe's turn to act again and he peeked at his cards again. After about a minute Volpe let go of his hand.

Hand #47: Volpe limped the small blind and Deeb raised to 330,000 from the big blind. Volpe folded.

Hand #48: Deeb raised to 325,000 from the small blind and Lewis defended his big blind.

The flop was {2-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Deeb continued showing aggression with a bet of 275,000. Lewis called to see the turn.

The fourth card on the board was the {5-Spades} and Deeb grabbed another pile of chips. This time the bet was 820,000 and it was decision time for Lewis. He made the call and the river card was dealt.

The {J-Hearts} completed the board and the pot was already close to 3,000,000. Lewis had only 2,700,000 behind and Deeb moved all in. Lewis folded and Deeb won a big pot.

Hand #43: Deeb made it 200,000 on the button and Volpe called in the big blind. The flop came down {6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, and Volpe check-called a 175,000 bet. On the {6-Spades} turn, Volpe led for 400,000 and Deeb called.

After the river card was revealed to be the {k-Diamonds}, Volpe overbet the pot for 1.8m. Deeb took some time to think and was talking out loud to Volpe but got no response. After several minutes Deeb made his decision and let his hand go.

Hand #36: Volpe raised from the button to 215,000 and Romain Lewis called from the big blind. The flop came down {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Lewis check-called a bet of 220,000 from Volpe.

the turn was the {J-Hearts} and Lewis checked again to Volpe. This time Volpe counted out a bigger bet and pushed 685,000 forward. Lewis sent his hand to the muck.

Hand #37: Lewis called from the small blind and Volpe checked.

The flop was {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and both players checked again. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}. They checked again to see the {K-Hearts} river. Lewis took the hand down by showing {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Hand #38: Lewis raised to 210,000 from the button and Volpe called from the small blind. Deeb folded his big blind and they went heads-up to the flop.

The flop came down {3-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Volpe checked to Lewis who put in a bet of 150,000. Volpe called within a couple of seconds.

The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and Volpe checked to Lewis for the second time in the hand. The Frenchman checked behind this time.

The river was the {9-Spades} and, again, Volpe checked to Lewis. He put in a bet of 250,000 and Volpe went in the tank. After about a minute and a half, he called and Lewis opened up {K-}{8-} and Volpe showed {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}.
