Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche in a previous event

It folded around to Paul Volpe on the button and he raised to 200,000 to essentially put both the players in the blinds all in. The player in the small blind folded, but Dominik Nitsche took a peek at the clock before calling all in for his last 111,000.

Nitsche showed {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and had to hit against Volpe's {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {8-Spades}{J-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Nitsche managed to end up with the better hand.

Aerts Doubles With Aces Versus Kings

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Matthijs Aerts raised to 35,000 in the cutoff, and Ankush Mandavia called in the cutoff. When the action folded around to Todd Ivens in the big blind he three-bet to 135,000. Aerts thought for a minute before he four-bet. Mandavia folded, and Ivens moved all in, which Aerts called.

Matthijs Aerts: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Todd Ivens: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Board: {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Aerts sealed the pot with top set on the turn and moved up to 1.4m as Iven took a hit in brutal fashion.

Pascal Hartmann pushed his last 130,000 in the middle and Bin Duan reshoved for 148,000. All the other players folded and the two opened up their hands.

Duan was in pretty good shape with his {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} against the {A-Clubs}{7-Spades} of Hartmann.

The board came down {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Duan won the pot with a straight.

Watson Hits a Set to Bust Blair

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Mike Watson
Mike Watson

The pot was being moved to Mike Watson as Eric Blair stood up from the table with pocket nines in front of him. Watson had pocket fives, and the board was down {7-}{k-}{q-Clubs}{5-}{a-}. It was not clear when Blair got all his chips into the middle, but he was unfortunate to see his dominating pair lose when Watson hit a set.

Blair walked away with a score of $26,424 as Watson moved up to 1.5m.

The board read {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Paul Volpe was involved in a pot with Sam Greenwood. Volpe checked from the big blind and Greenwood fired 150,000 from the under the gun position. Volpe moved all-in for 572,000 and Greenwood called.

Volpe opened up {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for a set of jacks and Greenwood was well behind with his {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for two pair aces and jacks.

The river was the {K-Clubs} and that meant that Volpe just earned himself a huge double up.

Patrick Mahoney raised from the cutoff and saw Mark Teltscher three-bet from the small blind. Mahoney four-bet all in for around 600,000 and Teltscher, who had a stack of around 450,000, called.

Patrick Mahoney: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Mark Teltscher: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Board: {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Teltscher's pocket nines held on the board and secured him a double which left Mahoney short on 145,000.

Aerts Takes Down the Pot Without Showdown

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Matthijs Aerts raised to 26,000 from the under the gun position and Ankush Mandavia three-bet from one seat over to 80,000. Todd Ivens called from the small blind and the player in the big blind folded. Aerts decided to put in a four-bet when he shoved 250,000 forward. Mandavia folded his hand, but Ivens called.

The hand was already lasting for six minutes when the {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop came down. Ivens checked to the Belgian player and he pushed all in for effectively about 470,000, covering Ivens by a lot. Ivens opted to go for the fold and when the hand was over Mandavia offered Aerts $50 to see his hand.

Aerts shoved his hand to the muck with a smile on his face and took down the pretty sizeable pot without showdown.
