The last of three starting flights for Event #75: $1,500 The Closer No-Limit Hold'em kicks off at 11:00 a.m. PDST. The first two drew a combined total of 1,449 entries with 502 on Day 1a, 947 on Day 1b, and 150 survivers so far. The current overall chip leader is Jeffrey Tanouye, who finished the second starting flight with 601,000. The chip leader that emerged from the first starting flight was Bertrand Grospellier, who advanced to Day 2 with 583,000.

Players begin with 15,000 in tournament chips and each starting flight plays 18 30-minute levels on Day 1. There will be a 20-minute break every four levels and a 75-minute dinner break after the end of level 12, at around 5:40 p.m. local time. Late entry and re-entry will continue to be available until the start of level 13. The surviving players from all three starting flights will combine for Day 2 action at noon on Sunday and will play down to a winner.
