Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Paul Miller raised to 700 from the hijack and received calls from the player on the button, Kevin MacPhee in the small blind, and Bryan Piccioli in the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and action checked to the player on the button, who bet 1,000. MacPhee called and Piccioli and Miller folded.

Faecher's Kings Get Paid

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

There was already a pot of 7,000 built up when three players checked through a {5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop to see the {5-Clubs} fall on the turn. Mohsin Virani bet 4,000, and after the cutoff folded, Barry Faecher, who made a deep run in last year's Main Event, eventually falling in 90th place, made the call on the button.

Virani checked the {3-Diamonds} river to Faecher, who bet 5,000. Virani tanked for a little over a minute before calling, only to muck after Faecher tabled {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

Lutes Bombs River

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

On a board that read {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} the pot was about 20,000. Jeffrey Lutes decided to go big and bet 35,000 to put the big decision on his opponent Aki Pyysing who thought long and hard before eventually laying it down.

Lutes showed his unrequited quads with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} but stacked a nice pot regardless to add to his early momentum.

Jablonski Gets There

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player in the big blind checked a {6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} board to Stan Jablonski in middle position, who bet 2,300. The big blind tossed in a 5k chip, then realized after that he forgot to say raise, forcing him to just call Jablonski's bet.

"Can I let him raise?" Jablonski said with a grin.

The {a-Hearts} fell on the river, and the big blind checked. Jablonski bet 5,000 and the big blind called, tabling {k-}{j-}. Jablonski turned over {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a rivered straight, however, and took down the pot.

Sanders Hits River To Chip Up

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Scott Sanders raised it up from early position to 700 and the player to his left called from middle position. The flop came {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Sanders fired a continuation-bet of 1,200. His opponent put in 2,000 and announced a raise. After both Sanders and the dealer confirmed what he said, he was forced to put in a minimum raise of 2,400, which Sanders matched.

The turn came {4-Spades} and Sanders checked. His opponent bet 3,000 and Sanders made the call. The river fell {a-Spades} and both players checked.

Upon checking behind, Sanders' opponent turned over {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks. Sanders tabled {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, having filled up on one of his twelve pair or flush outs in order to make the best hand and take down the pot.

Lynn Pulls Some Back Through Alaei

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Daniel Alaei has taken a seat and has already dropped from starting stack. The most recent chips were in a hand against Angus Lynn.

Grippo Gets it in and Gets the Fold

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

With {2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} showing on the board, Nick Grippo put 11,200 into an already sizable pot from the hijack. Daniel Cooke, on the button, thought it over for a bit before making the call, bringing the {2-Spades} on the river.

Grippo went all in for his last 31,000, sending his opponent deep into the tank. Cooke agonized over the decision, shot Grippo a look, and Grippo shot a glance right back. Cooke eventually folded, and Grippo is up to 76,700.
