Romaine Doubles Through Lewis

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The flop read {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and William Romaine had bet 280,000 from the late position and Romain Lewis had put him all-in. Romaine contemplated his options for a while and then ended up making the call.

William Romaine: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Romain Lewis: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Romaine needed another club for the nut-flush and Lewis had flopped a flush already.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} to give Romaine the nut-flush indeed as the {k-Spades} was dealt to complete the board as a formality so Romaine would get paid his double-up.

Sammartino Pays Off Greenwood

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Over on the main feature table, Marcelo Cudos raised to 220,000 on the button and Sam Greenwood defended the small blind, as did Dario Sammartino on the big blind. On the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, all three players checked and Greenwood bet the {a-Clubs} turn for 250,000 to receive a call from Sammartino only.

Greenwood bet big for 1,900,000 and that sent Sammartino in the think tank. The clock was called on him and the Italian eventually called to get shown {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a set of sevens by Greenwood.

"Flush Saved You"

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Warwick Mirzikinian opened for 250,000 on the button and was called by both blinds. On the {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop, he continued for 250,000 and only small blind Laurids Nielsen called. Nielsen check-called 650,000 more on the {5-Diamonds} turn and then checked the {8-Spades} river. Mirzikinian bet 1 million without much thought and Nielsen folded in about 30 seconds.

"Flush saved you," Mirzikinian lamented with a smile.

Winter Doubles Through Heidorn

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Alex Winter
Alex Winter

Over on the third feature table, Alex Winter was all in for 1,485,000 with the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and had a flip against the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} of big stack Robert Heidorn.

Winter's rail asked for a ten and their wish was granted on the {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop. Winter got out of his seat on the {6-Hearts} turn to celebrate, however, Heidorn could catch a jack to improve to the superior full house still. The river was the blank {q-Hearts} and Heidorn took a small hit to his stack.

Ensan Still Stacking Chips

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Oliver Bithell and Hossein Ensan were heads-up in the blinds with the board reading {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}. Bithell checked and Ensan dropped in a bet of 1,500,000 into a pot of nearly 2,000,000 already.

Bithell scratched his head in thought for a moment and then flicked in a chip to call. Ensan tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for the nuts and Bithell sent over nearly half of his stack.

Rau Doubles Through Cloutier

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Ryan Yu opened for 225,000 in the hijack and Eric Cloutier called on his left. Big blind [Removed:140] shoved for 1,630,000, folding out Yu. Cloutier thought briefly and flicked in a chip to call, saying he was hoping to see ace-king. It was {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} though, and Cloutier was crushed with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

The {q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs} runout provided little sweat, and Cloutier sent over about half of his chips.
