David Peters raised to 80,000 and Michael Addamo defended. The flop was {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Addamo check-called 40,000 from Peters.

On the {3-Clubs} turn, Addamo checked, Peters bet 304,000 and Addamo called after taking some time.

The river brought the {q-Diamonds} and Addamo checked a third time. Another overbet from Peters followed, opting for a very chunky 1,344,000, but this time Addamo snapped him off with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Peters rolled over a total airball with {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

It's still a 2:1 lead for Michael Addamo as the pair played barely any sizable pots in the past ten minutes. In the biggest one, Michael Addamo check-raised a {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop to 112,000 which Peters called.

After the {9-Spades} turn got checked by both, Addamo bet 480,000 on the {5-Spades} river to take it down.

David Peters completed and Michael Addamo checked his option. The flop was {6-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} and Addamo check-called 51,200 from Addamo. The {3-Spades} brought a fourth spade and Addamo check-called a second barrel of 163,840.

The {j-Hearts} river prompted a third check from the Aussie. This time, Peters went for the overbet and slid in 768,000. Addamo dove deep in the tank before responding with an all-in shove. Peters quickly called it off for the 921,291 he had behind.

Michael Addamo: {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}
David Peters: {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

Addamo had the ace-high flush but as if it were a James Bond movie, Peters had the one card to beat him — the five of spades — to take the lead with a straight flush.
