The 2020 Online World Series of Poker on GGPoker has kicked off! From July 19th to September 6th, 85 WSOP gold bracelets are up for grabs on GG Poker. GGPoker's schedule offers a whopping 54 bracelet events in the upcoming month and a half.

With a full field of 128 players, a prize pool of $1,241,600 was created and the final 16 players will be in the money for at least $24,832. The winner will walk away with $360,480 and the WSOP Europe package when the final three matches will be played out on Saturday, August 15.

Van Elsacker Turns a Lock

Michiel Van Elsacker shoved on the button for about 20K effective and Ivan Leow was in there after waking up with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Van Elsacker was live with {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and turned an unbeatable hand as the board came {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Seidel Flops a Set to Go to the Next Round

Max Kruse raised to 3,200 from the button and Erik Seidel three-bet shoved with the bigger stack for Kruse to call for the 40,116 he still had left.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} for Seidel to improve his higher pocket pair to a set.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} which gave Kruse some extra outs as he picked up the flush draw.

The river completed the board with the {j-Spades} to not help Kruse as Seidel went through to the next round.

"ElkY" Sets Up Kempe for a Fall

Blinds: 800/1,600

Bertrand Grospellier opened for 3,200 on the button and Rainer Kempe called. Kempe check-called 1,856 on the {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop and checked the {4-Diamonds} turn. Grospellier bet 8,000, Kempe shoved for 42K and "ElkY" quickly called with {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a set.

It was a bad turn for Kempe as he turned two pair with {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and failed to find improvement on the river.

Daniel Negreanu limped in and Artur Martirosian shoved for 26K with {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. He fell into Negreanu's trap though as Kid Poker had limped {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. The {8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} board gave a bit more to Martirosian but he missed the river.

Mark Radoja limped in from the button and Alyssa MacDonald opted to check.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, MacDonald bet 1,200 and Radoja raised to up to 2,400 which MacDonald called.

The turn was the {2-Clubs}. MacDonald checked this time and Radoja bet 1,200. MacDonald raised to 6,600 which was called.

The river completed the board with the {7-Hearts} and MacDonald bet to put Radoja all-in who took some time and then made the call for the 12,050 he had behind with {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the two pair on the board with the ace-kicker. MacDonald held {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for the full house to advance to the next round.
