Gina Bacon
Gina Bacon

With blinds at 4,000/8,000/1,000, action folded around to Gina "baconbitz" Bacon who raised all in for 22,015 on the button and Matthew "EarvinMagic" Parry gave her isolation after he came over the top for 281,079 from the small blind.

Gina "baconbitz" Bacon: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Matthew "EarvinMagic" Parry: {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Hellmuth Eliminates Harder

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

With the blinds at 2,500/5,000/625, Christian "0V0X0" Harder moved all in for 24,810 from the cutoff and 15-time bracelet winner Phil "Lumestackin" Hellmuth three-bet jammed over the top from the button. Both blinds folded and Harder discovered the bad news.

Christian "0V0X0" Harder: {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Phil "Lumestackin" Hellmuth: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop actually paired Harder's kicker to give him the lead, but it was only temporary as the {k-Clubs} rolled off on the turn to pair the "Poker Brat."

The {a-Hearts} river gave both players two pair, but of course Hellmuth's aces and kings was best.

Jamie Kerstetter
Jamie Kerstetter

In the last hand of 1,600/3,200/400, Shannon "aulophobia" Shorr opened for 6,400 from the cutoff and then called Jamie "DanBilzerian" Kerstetter's 34,943 three-bet jam from the button.

Shannon "aulophobia" Shorr: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Jamie "DanBilzerian" Kerstetter: {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Kerstetter held live cards and came ahead after the {5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop gave her top pair.

The {7-Spades} turn was safe for Kerstetter but the {a-Hearts} appeared on the river giving Shorr two-pair ending Kerstetter's tournament.

Nick Schulman

With blinds at 1,600/3,200/400, action folded around to Nick "CashUsKlay" Schulman who raised all in for 37,650 from the small blind and James "jerzrep" Nadolski called from the big blind.

James "jerzrep" Nadolski: {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Nick "CashUsKlay" Schulman: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop paired Nadolski's three but Schulman also picked up the nut flush draw.

Unfortunately for Schulman, the board completed with the {k-Clubs} on the turn followed by the {2-Clubs} on the river ending his tournament.

Hellmuth checked, Saechao bet 800, and "Sal_11223_" raised to 1,600. Action folded back to Saechao and he called to see the {2-Clubs} turn.

"Beastro" Looking to Claim Bracelet for New Jersey Contingent

John Hinds
John Hinds

While the summer is usually reserved for players coming into Vegas for the World Series of Poker, one of the benefits of the online events is that players from New Jersey can participate without having to travel across the country.

One such player is John Allan Hinds, who is playing from the Garden State under the screenname “Beastro.”

Hinds is a poker pro with $691,665 in live tournament earnings, including a career-best $262,574 for finishing 20th in the 2015 WSOP Main Event. In 2012, he won a WPT Borgata Poker Open $400 side event for $68,871, and in 2017 also cashed the WSOP Main Event finishing in 255th place for $40,181.

All told, Hinds has 24 WSOP-related cashes totaling $427,491, though he’s still in search of his first victory. He came close last month with five WSOP.com Season Finale Online Circuit cashes – including a sixth-place finish in the $320 Double Stack for $9,174 – but only time will tell if he can get it done here in the July bracelet events.

Thus far he's notched three small cashes in the 2020 WSOP online series, and only time will tell if he can get his fourth tonight.

A Reload for Matt Bode

With the blinds at 160/320/40, Event #4 champ Matt "Bodeyster" Bode raised to 560 from early position and "chuckybrown9" called from the hijack. Dana "marco1399" Marcolongo came along from the small blind, as did Thomas "tdkaces" Kornechuk from the big, and it was four-way action to the {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop.

Two checks saw Bode continue for 840 and only Kornechuk called to see the {3-Spades} turn. Kornechuk checked, Bode bet 1,120, and Kornechuk woke up with a check-raise to 7,560. Bode called off the 5,752 he had behind and discovered the bad news.

Matt "Bodeyster" Bode: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Thomas "tdkaces" Kornechuk: {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Bode had flopped a set but it was no good as Kornechuk had turned a straight. Bode could still win on the river if the board paired, but that didn't happen as the {a-Hearts} peeled off.

Bode was felted on the hand but opted to rebuy back up to a fresh 40,000 starting stack.

Benjamin Moon
Benjamin Moon

Benjamin "End3rs" Moon raised to 3,500 from the big blind and "Zamees" mucked their hand from under the gun.

Action was back on Ruecker who three-bet to 8,260 and Moon called. The {q-Diamonds} appeared on the turn and Moon check-called Ruecker's 15,135 bet.

Once the {a-Diamonds} appeared on the river, Moon moved all in for 52,734 and Ruecker called.

Ruecker showed {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a set of threes but Moon rivered the flush with {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to win the hand.
